We started with an abstract drawing

I changed the scene because there was too much detail in the first part

Using the lines at the same angle did not create the feeling of shadow.

So I used the lines at the right angles to the shadows.

We went to something different on the 2nd homework. We had to make a 2D design using some geometric shapes on the first assignment. I did not know the design principles so I made this incoherent design.

When I tried again, I grouped and made a size difference. They were also mirroring.

It was wrong because there was a gap in the work. Shapes did not interact.

This has the same problem.

Then it came out, I had groups and interacted with each other.This was the most successful work on this assignment.

That was a different assignment. This time we used paper bands instead of certain shapes.I tried rhythm

In this work, I put the tape thickness into work.When I put the bands on top, it was getting more distinctive color and helped to create dominance.

The purpose of this assignment was to create relief. 

We created cylinders by bending parchment paper and newspaper paper. We could use these cylinders vertically and horizontally. I tried to group, but it was not successful. The group could not be read. I was not as successful as changing the material.

Then all the boundaries are left to relief. The letter n, the letter l, the plus symbol, and the pentagon that I see in this way were my bands. I made a relief of 180 parts by carving these shapes.When I got critical I was told that the + and L groups are potent.

We could think of it with our gray straps and try our minds right away. This freedom developed me and in the first try I found a potent surface

Though the one-hundred quality was good, there was lack of organization and monotony.

I fixed the organization according to the criticisms I received, I found 2 of the 4 groups that I tried to be productive and continued with them.

This was the previous state of my work. The only problem now was that the surface of relief 2 was the opposite of each other. I also solved this by tilting it to a surface.

The L group was the same shape, while the + group formed the last relief with a slight variation.

We are now completely in 3rd dimension and we are beginning to create voids.

One of our first experiments, we created 5 interconnected voids.This experiment was very concrete and architectural. Although voids are defined and related, this is not what is desired.

I kept experimenting by gridding the cartons and using the stick was not good either. Although it is no longer an architectural one, it is still monotonous.

I tried to use different shapes beside the rectangles

My voids were meaningless and undefined.

Right trapezium

The undefined void problem continued. The model did not gain any rigid geometry at all.

Right trapezium and parallelogram.

I then decided that the parallelogram was the most efficient form and I just used it.

The use of parallelograms also solved the problem of identifying voids.

A stable work also emerged.
